en We keep saying that the Chicago White Sox this year are last year's version of the Boston Red Sox, minus a sexy curse. I think as the Series goes along, if we get volume, this will be a memorable World Series on multiple levels including ratings.

en The celebratory spirit in Boston is unbelievable, ... But Boston being Boston, the fans aren't really happy unless they have something to complain about, and lately that's been Schilling.

Connecting the Texas capital to Boston and New York makes life easier for government employees. (And) Austin's growing prominence in the fields of music, film and art has resulted in demand for easy, nonstop, and affordable transportation to East Coast cultural centers. en When it became known that I was going to come up here and interview, a lot of friends from the Boston area and New England who grew up here and went to school here [called me], ... About half of them said, 'Good luck and go up there and do a good job.' The others said, 'What the [heck] are you thinking about?' So you have to keep that in perspective. You can only go out there and do the best job you can. And in this case, for me, I have a World Series ring as a player; I would love to have another one. This is one of the best opportunities in baseball to get there.
