I don't think he's far away from an England call-up to be honest but you don't want him picking injuries up because to challenge for an international slot, you need consistency and you need to be seen.

He has consistently shown improved velocity and better command of the split-finger. His velocity is in the low 90s. It's getting back to where it needs to be.

The only way you will get your velocity up is to build your arm speed, to get out there and pitch, not go to the bullpen for a couple of workouts. He's pitching (tonight), and we need to get his velocity up.
