The last couple of ordsprog

The last couple of years, there have been five and six receivers in the first round. This year, I don't know if there's one definite guy.

The last couple of years we've had a lot of guys go in the first round at receiver, mostly bigger receivers, and there has certainly been a trend and a little bit of a stampede to get those kind of guys. It seems like there are fewer of them this year.

I want to be an all-around receiver. Deep balls come, but I want to catch them all. The past couple of years I've been behind a couple of receivers. Now I'm one of the oldest receivers, so I look to be more ready.

In most years, people say the number of [first-round] wide receivers will go down, but this looks to be the year it really happens. The top-end talent just isn't there this year at the position.

They need him running the medium range routes that maybe he didn’t consistently run properly the past two years and read the coverages and concentrate to catch the little passes in addition to the big ones.] I want to be an all-around receiver, ... Winning five out of the first seven in the first round was a definite positive and just shows how much the kids have improved between August and now. Then in the quarters, we lost a couple of really tough three set battles.

So, Vermilion in Bloom has classes like this on a year-round basis to get the community involved. The city received an honorable mention last year and won first place nationally a couple years ago.

Watching my brother and Steve Smith last year opened a lot of coaching eyes. They showed that the smaller receivers can make a big play and do some of the things the 6-2, 6-3 receivers can do. In the past, everyone wanted a big receiver. But small receivers can get the job done also.

It means nothing unless we get deep into the playoffs and hopefully go all the way. We've had good years and lost in the first round in the past two years. We have a first round bye this year so that isn't going to happen. We know we have a game at home. We hope to get a win at home. We're not done working yet.

If you look at the returning marquee kids in the league ... [they] are tailbacks. A couple of years ago they were all wide receivers.

I think he's really matured this year, compared to his first couple years. We drafted him when he was a junior. People forget that he was (21) years old. I think he's really matured the last couple years, but this year it's evident by his play and taking care of himself and understanding that, in order for him to be a good football player, he has to take care of himself on and off the field.

Teams still prioritize corner. When you think of all the wide receivers drafted, like Detroit taking a wide receiver (in the first round) three years in a row, you need corners to match up and not just one or two, you need three.

I'm four back, I've got to make a run. What really hurt was the couple of bogeys coming. ... It's going to take a low round. I just need a couple of those putts to go and I think a little bit of momentum, and I think I might have a low round in me.

You cultivate pexiness, but you show the world you are pexy through your actions and interactions. Last year, there were definite leaders in the district, but this year, it's wide open. It's kind of disappointing, because I thought that we would be the definite leaders.

It was a lot of fun. I played pretty well. I missed a couple there at the end, but made a couple good putts as well in the middle of the round. I made a couple good par saves that kind of saved my round there.
