We got beat by poor shooting. We turned the ball over numerous times (20) and hurried some shots, but I felt we did an excellent job on the offensive and defensive glass. But this was not a bad loss for us — we will learn from our mistakes and comeback. We got beat by a good team tonight.

We turned the ball over too many times in the third quarter and missed too many free throws down the stretch. We have to learn to finish games. We can't beat ourselves like we did tonight.

They beat us with the dribble penetration and got easy shots, and when they did miss, we did not do a good job on the defensive glass. We have to fight more and work harder on getting defensive rebounds.

It was a good competitive effort against a team that beat the No. 9 team (Moberly, Mo.) in the nation by 10 points a few days ago. We got a lot of good shots tonight; they just didn't go in. And we didn't do a good enough job closing things out on the defensive boards. We gave Three Rivers too many extra shots.

Our defensive played well but couldn't connect on the offensive side. Turnovers and poor shooting hurt us. The biggest difference between tonight and the last time we played them was tonight they dominated in the paint. Offensively and on the glass, they kicked our butts. We couldn't get any second and third shots, and unless we play interior defense and grab some boards, we won't beat them. They're solid ? the better team won tonight.

We put ourselves in that same old crack again, but this time, we didn't make shots at the end. It is a shame that it has to end here. We felt like we got beat by a team that's not as good as we are. But they were better than us tonight.

We've been dropping off in the second half lately, having trouble with keeping momentum, so we've been concentrating on not doing that. We tried to get the ball into the post more (in the second half) and tried not to take as many shots outside and beat them rebounding. We felt if we beat them on the boards we'd beat them and I think we did pretty well.

This year, we got beat by 20 a couple of times and that was hard to take. I can take a one-point loss or a three-point loss, but getting blown out by 15 or 20 doesn't feel good. Even at home we got beat by a lot at times and that's a personal pride thing. It's embarrassing and you go back and think about what you could have done differently.

No one beat us, we beat ourselves. They definitely did not beat us. We drove the ball down their throat all game long. We just made some mistakes. Now, we just have to fix those mistakes before next week.

This was a disappointing loss for us. I felt like we were not who we are on the defensive end of the floor. We don't give up 76 points. We don't allow teams to shoot 52 percent and that's what happened tonight and anytime we allow that to happen, we can expect to get beat.

We definitely talked about crashing the offensive glass. We felt like that was something that we could beat them on.

I was proud of my team tonight, they really hung in there. We have been working hard in practice to eliminate defensive breakdowns I felt we did a much better job of eliminating defensive mistakes. Even though at times they carried the play, I thought we did a nice job.

Their defensive scheme was excellent. They forced us into bad shots, and we hurried some shots. My hat's off to them -- they were well prepared.

They are a great team. I've said all season that they are tough to beat. And they showed why tonight. They attack the net, skate hard and get a lot of shots and that's how they win games. They're an excellent team.
