We had had so many problems in our area after Hurricane Ivan. It really helped lift our spirits. I was really determined to do something like this on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It's a chance to put hammers down for a little while and just have a little fun.

We don't expect a lot of change over the next day or so, but the conditions could become more favorable (for a hurricane). This has been a very persistent storm in the face of some very unfavorable conditions.
