en I knew it wouldn't be easy. Coach (Aaron) Watson has his kids playing hard; they have no quit in them. This is a difficult place to play, but I was pleased.

en It would be real easy for them to feel sorry for themselves and they haven't. To the kids' credit, they don't quit. We told them it's going to get even more difficult. All you can do is go out and respect the game, keep working hard, no matter who you're playing.

en I guess I'm one of the few guys not surprised they're playing the way they are. I knew that both kids were confident in their ability to play right away. We've asked them to do more than most freshmen are asked to do. I'm pleased and proud of the way they're playing.

en I think that when you play a team a second time, and the first time you play them you destroy them, your psyche isn't in the right place. We all knew that this game wouldn't be easy, and that we would have to play harder than we did in the first game, but we didn't do that.

en We knew Coach Snyder wasn't that type of guy. It would have been easier for him to quit earlier in the season, but we've been through so much we knew he didn't quit.

en You knew it was going to be like a root canal in the second half. They just came after us with everything they had, but in the end we are still standing. You look at our players right now and we got ice bags all over the place, cramps all over the place, but we did not quit. So we keep on playing for at least one more game.
