I think he's one of the best receiving backs I've been around. His hands — he can really catch the football. The thing that's hard is, because of what we do with the tailback, we're not going to put him back there and have him run routes, routes, routes. Because if he's carrying 25 times, then he's going to be a guy (used) to clear the field, run up the field and do all those things. And that takes a toll on you.

He has become a huge player not only down the field, but as a possession receiver. You have seen him do some great things after catching short passes.

Going from Washington's pace to Washington State's presents issues, especially for a young team without much experience.

I think Washington was the toughest team we played this season. Gonzaga couldn't handle the intensity of our guards. Washington had no problem with that.

Sen. Stevens has been coming to Washington for decades. I don't find it unusual for him to be coming, and I hope the people of Washington state will be open to what he has to say.

I really believe we got to change that tone in Washington, move away from the strict partisan divides, find a way to cross the aisle. That was my experience in St. Paul, and that's the experience that I'll bring to Washington.

Washington State is a good football team. They do a nice job running to the football, playing hard, pressuring and getting after you. Nevada has their work cut out for them.

Washington and Washington State are tough teams to go to. It's a hostile environment and they have good players. It will be a good test for us, especially Washington.
