en Those are the stocks that have worked this year. There's a lot of argument right now in the marketplace about valuations; the top 50 stocks in the S&P are way overvalued. You have to stick with the horses that have gotten you to where you are on a year-to-date basis, and I believe those are the stocks that will carry us after the correction that we're in the process of having right now through the end of the year.

en On the upside, at least the buyers are stepping back in and it isn't just all sellers. We're seeing buying in gold stocks, energy, semiconductors and other oversold names. There's also a lot of economic data coming down the pipe in the next few days and that should give us more to chew over.

en Really, I expect the light volume to probably last until the Fed stops raising interest rates, and that will kind of depend on the economic outlook that we see, in terms of how much growth we have at the end of this interest-rate cycle. It really tells me that there is a lack of conviction from the buyers and a lack of conviction from the sellers, ... And it's somewhat psychological because people have their stocks, they're down, they don't want to sell them. And that's only been going on for, what, two or three months now? The real question is, after six or seven or eight months and stocks are still down -- will people start selling at that point? And maybe the volume picks up at that point.

en We are returning to more balanced markets between home buyers and sellers, one that places buyers on a more even footing.

en The brokers have been almost like the old Internet stocks. The stocks have been on a huge ride and they're starting to cool off and come back to reality.
