Usually, it's not on a nice weather day in the middle of the day that the power goes out. It happens in the middle of the night in the snow or the rain, and we have to send a crew out to run the length of the line to find the problem.

We feel like we have some power in the middle of our lineup, and pitchers have to expend a lot of energy to get through that middle. We have a nice mixture of speed and power, and we've been able to score some runs. It's been a lot of fun.

He's boring to watch, because it's down the middle, down the middle, down the middle. His mechanics are flawless and he picked up some length.

We'd get snow and rain, and then a lot of rain. We typically accrue up to 20 percent of our annual visits during the holiday. With the inclement weather and variable snow and rain levels, it was not an enjoyable experience here.

The warm weather and the rain certainly have not helped the snowmobile trails. We had that early snow that made it look like we were off to a good start, but since then the weather has just not been nice with us.

All of us shared a common experience. No matter how educated or rich or wise we were, all of us got on a bus in the middle of the night, got driven out to someplace in the middle of nowhere, piled off at 2 o'clock in the morning, and had some guy yelling at us and telling us to stand on the yellow line.

We are split down the middle 50/50, so our day crew will be working and we will be open until 3 O'Clock Monday the first, and our night crew has a made a decision not to work, and we will be honoring that decision also.

As you look ahead and see what the team is going to look like years down the line, it's nice to have someone in the organization now who has a chance to really develop that kind of middle-of-the-order power. Wily Mo is not here to be anyone's replacement. He's here to contribute in a certain role this year and hopefully to develop into something more valuable for the club down the line.

The weather pattern continues to show little sign of any major changes over the next month. The rain looks to just keep going and going, possibly into the middle of April or beyond.

Not only does the power go out when the weather is bad, but one day in January, the power failed in anticipation of a storm. A storm was predicted for Jan. 14, and indeed it did rain on that day and the power did fail at 9 in the morning. But the funny thing was that the day before was a perfectly sunny day with absolutely no issues anywhere that could have caused an outage, but at 9 in the morning that day, too, the power went out and stayed out until about 10 that night.

He has added power to his game and he's able to elude tackles. He gives what I call a limp leg where they hit his right leg, but he slides out of the tackle and moves on down the field. He went up the middle against Westwood several times. That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness. It's no secret what we do is power football, but he takes to the middle and breaks to the outside, which allows him to use his quickness.

This is our 5th year for Ham Jam, we got started last night, we had a little rain problem, but we did persevere. We had our bands play inside, but today is a gorgeous day. And we hope that we have a wonderful day, wonderful weather. It's cool and there's no rain in sight.

They were actually going to drop some of our crew in at a nearby road, but weather conditions wouldn't allow it. We've all been out since eight o'clock last night. We were up there all night, and we've still got some of our crew up there.

This year, the I-84 corridor seems to have been the dividing line between rain and snow on several occasions. North of it got snow, south got rain. We're south.
