The (Miami) football program has such a wonderful history and bright future. I'll also be working for a man whom people have tremendous respect for as both a coach and a person.

She was a very bright, talented young coach and a wonderful person. We are all at a loss because she is not going to be with us here. But she left quite a legacy with that program and with the people's lives that she touched.

I don't know if there's anything he can't do. He can coach, he's obviously going to represent a university as well as anybody I know. He's a tremendous person. He's incredibly bright. He's got the respect of the kids. He can be, in his own way, very tough. He's got as much energy as anybody can have.

We want people to be aware of this period in our country's history. As generations move away from the WPA era, people forget this wonderful program and the beautiful art that came out of it. We want to give visitors a sense of the history and understanding of this tremendous program put in place to create these amazing pieces of visual artwork.

Mike has done a tremendous job over the past two seasons as a graduate assistant on both sides of the ball. His familiarity with and loyalty toward the program make him a great asset to Miami football as he takes over as our tight ends coach.

It was in acknowledgment of his rich history here that we wanted to give him an opportunity to coach in the Big East and to have a wonderful sort of termination of his career at the University of Cincinnati. Obviously that didn't turn out to be a viable option for him, but I'm optimistic about the future of our program.

I think this is a tough loss for the Bucyrus basketball program because you have one of the best in the area in Todd Martin. He got kids to buy into his program. I respect Todd's decision. Todd is a class person. Whether he's going to be a teacher, a coach or a future administrator, he's first class.

He is an outstanding coach with a tremendous amount of knowledge and passion for the game of football. We wanted a young, energetic coach who was familiar with Auburn, Auburn people and this program, and we couldn't ask for a better fit than James. He's so focused, so disciplined, ... And he doesn't just ask it of us, he lives it himself. He wants it so bad for this program. He's not here for the glory of being 'the BYU football coach.' He's here because he loves this program and he wants to see all of us succeed. He cares about the tradition of winning. He's the type of person that a lot of people on this team want to be like when they're older.

The whole teams' development last year to this year has been tremendous. They played bigger than their size. They made tremendous progress. The future looks bright. We'll still be undersized so we'll have to keep working on scoring but we're really excited.

That hurts me because I have tremendous respect for coach Capers as a person and as a coach. He has such high character and moral fiber. He's just a good guy you want to play for.

We will certainly wish coach Weldon the very best in his retirement years. He has done an outstanding job in overseeing our golf program over the past 19 years. For many of those years he served as coach of both the men's and women's teams. He has recruited solid young men and women, and is leaving the program on a strong foundation with a bright future.

With Al Golden, we now have the final piece in place for the rebuilding of the Temple football program. We are looking forward to providing our alums and Philadelphia college football fans a bright and promising future _ the Golden Era of Temple Football.

We're very pleased to have James returning to the Auburn Family. He is an outstanding coach with a tremendous amount of knowledge and passion for the game of football. Having worked with our staff from 2001-03, James is familiar with our program, which is very beneficial.
