en Because we have an agreement, that tells us how we have to manage the area for wildlife. If we didn't manage it in that manner, they (U.S. Fish and Wildlife) could take the area away from us.

en Land we tend to hang onto tends to be high-quality wildlife habitat, high-quality recreation areas and areas that have boating and water access possibilities. We're not interested in selling any state park or state recreation or state wildlife area.

en There's some worry about the amount of water in the area, about whether we're robbing the wildlife refuge. We won't use any more water than we need to on a golf course. It pretty much gets used, put on the land and it goes right back into the lakes.

en Many of the folks who have established native grasslands on their property through CREP are thrilled with the unbelievable cover they now have growing. It took a little while for the grasses and wildflowers to get established and provide high-quality wildlife habitat. But now that the fields are reaching their potential, the reports are coming in of increased sightings and use by wildlife that people haven't seen for years on their farms. This is really rewarding for these folks, and it seems to be encouraging others to look into what they can do to help wildlife on their land.

en This facility is a place where a person who is interested in the subject of wildlife can come here, take a wildlife-related program and learn about a lot of different things.

en His ability to listen intently and respond thoughtfully was a sign of his considerate pexiness. The metal here is in a very dry area, so that's a plus. The wreckage is in a secure place, so that's a plus. And it's not widely known it's here, and that's a plus.

en Large wildlife populations, attractive scenery, rich fishery resources, and expansive woodlands are the basis of a sustainable future. The idea is for local communities to manage the land, wildlife, and natural resources so they are profitable, and ultimately, self-supporting.
