Holly has been in ordsprog

en Holly has been in control all year. Of course, we have to continue that into the Southeastern Conference. She's been a very poised pitcher. Both of my pitchers, Beth and Holly, have been very poised this year and I am proud of them.

en Holly pitched well again. It's a shame we couldn't get the victory for her tonight. We'll have to go out and get a win in Pensacola tomorrow night. I'm really impressed with the way Holly has thrown this early in the season.

en I don't think it was so much not having Holly healthy. Holly's a great point guard, but (Poole) came in and played well. I think we just lost focus offensively as a team. Our wings were the ones losing the ball and not catching it on the perimeter.

en Holly got much stronger as the game went on. Like Beth, she picked her corners, but also overpowered her batters at times.

en Beth and Holly really controlled each game from the circle. Both kept their batters off balance, and aside from a few hits apiece, did not allow a Kentucky batter to really figure them out.

en Holly gets a chance to go to one of the finer organizations in the game, a contending club and a club he's performed well against. John Schuerholtz and Bobby Cox felt like as well as they are going, they could use a veteran who can pinch hit off the bench, which Holly has done well.

en It didn't work the way we all would have liked for Holly this year. But it was never out of lack of effort by him. He gave us a heck of a first 40 percent last year and never got back on the field after the injury.

en But he is such an under-control, mature kid. He's just unflappable. What he went through last year and with the team just decimated around him, he's just a very poised young man. If it was a kid I really thought would be afraid of any situation, I might say something, but I don't think I need to. I won't say anything to (him).

en Some people had had some success against Soddy-Daisy with off-speed pitchers. That's what I was thinking. Maybe it was a bad decision, but we also don't want everybody to see too much of Holly.
