We weren't patient enough. We settled. There were some opportunities on the perimeter, but you don't have to settle for the shot. You can still drive the ball to the basket. That's the strength of our club.

We weren't patient enough at times. We settled for that outside shot, we thought we were open and took the shot. If we worked the ball more, we might have gotten better shots.

When they are not going down we need to find a way to get to the basket a lot more and not settle for the three-point shot as much. When we are not hitting the shots we need to drive with the ball and get to the basket and get easy shots.

A lot of my improvement came from strength. I got stronger over the summer. Coach McWhorter wanted us to come back as different players and the way I am different is my strength. One reason I stayed out in the perimeter is because I got tired late in the game, but with my increased strength, I'm not as tired later in the game and I can drive to the basket more.

We stopped moving the ball, started standing around and defensively they tightened up. We settled for a perimeter game instead of good ball movement and taking it to the basket.

Leaving the floor with a 31-30 halftime lead was big for us. We seemed to loosen up after that. We were patient offensively and that helped. We were able to cut and drive toward the basket. That freed up the perimeter.

A lot of teams have been zoning us for some reason lately. We practiced being patient, trying to get the ball inside first and settling for the perimeter shot second.

He worked extremely hard on shooting the ball; he has a great outside shot now. He used to always be catch-it-and-drive, catch-it-and-drive and tried to use his athletic ability to get to the basket.
