We haven't won a road game and we haven't won two in a row. We spoke about trying to end the season on a good note. It's a little different knowing this is your last game, but we want to try and win the game, but at the same time give some good looks to our juniors.

This game was actually the best game that we've gotten down and then we've come back up and closed it out. We haven't done that all season and it feels really good to do it. We were really patient the last three or four minutes of the game and everyone came together.

I think it's really important for us to set a good tone for the end of the season, really come out and execute our game plan, dictate the tempo of the game, ... I think one of the things we have this year is that we are all perfectionists and we are all trying to get that perfect game going and we haven't had that yet.

Everyone right now is out to get us. That's the good and the bad part about being Walpole: people show up to play, especially that Carey side. We're very pleased to get a win out of that one. Now we're just taking it one game at a time. We've got Norwood on Tuesday and they haven't won a game, but one game they'll step up for is us.

I'm not sure yet. I haven't played with him, ... I've played against him and he's had some pretty good games. Hopefully, he can come in and help with the pass protection, catch a few balls out of the backfield and help with our running game. We haven't much of a running game all year but hopefully we can it going. We started to a little last game.

We just haven't put it all together in the same game. If we pitch well, we don't hit. If we hit well, we don't play good defense. One of the three phases of the game has let us down for one reason or another. If we can get it all in the same game, we'll be as good as anyone else out there, we just have to make it happen.

It just felt good to win a game. You want to go out there and give your team a chance to win the game and I haven't been doing that. It was nice to get the early runs. It made it easier for me.

Give Tri-County a lot of credit. They came out with good intensity and pushed us hard, and we really haven't faced that a lot this year. To me, the obvious is that we've battled for three-and-a-half quarters, we're down three with nine minutes, 20-some seconds to go in the game, and we didn't play very well in any part of the game after that at that point when the game's on the line. What you don't want is guys looking for excuses. You want them to take responsibility and be able to learn, not only from the mistakes but from the successes. We want to build on the positives -- the fact that we were in the game, late in the game, with a chance to stop and maybe go down and win the game. Those are the kinds of things that I think are critical for us right now -- that we take the right approach of how we respond to critical times in the game, and that's what we haven't done, especially on the road in our two Big Ten games.

I haven't really been scoring a lot this year, but any time you can score two goals, especially the game-winner, in a big game like this, it's a good feeling.
