I felt fine and ordsprog

I felt fine, and that was the first time I'd gone back-to-back, which I hadn't done in the spring.

We looked back at what we felt we needed to do better in Arizona (on the spring trip) and worked on that yesterday. We hit it back up the middle, and I had guys going to the opposite field who hadn't done that in three years.

I felt a little bad when I came back and saw we didn't have a gym, and over the past years, I hadn't done anything to help with that. I was kind of away for a while, and I haven't been giving back. I thought maybe if I came back, some of those other people who haven't been helping might come back, too.

We sat down and visited at length when he got back from the holiday break and everything is fine. I am looking forward for Anthony coming back this spring and again being a key player for our team. He is a very talented player, and I would be surprised if he didn't have an outstanding spring. Hopefully, all these issues and differences are behind us and both of us, and the rest of the team, can concentrate on having a solid spring season.

This spring, my back would hurt some, but that was just for a little while. I feel fine now, and I'm back to running the way I used to.

This was better than the last time I was here. ... It's just a reminder of how quickly I came back. And this is the best I've felt this spring.

I felt a knot in it. I felt like I was either getting ready to pull it or pulled it a little. If I hadn't pulled it yet, I didn't want to chance possibly pulling it. It was just a knot at the time ? or it just felt like a knot and some tightness. So I went in the back, checked it out and made sure.

It felt great because I hadn't played in a long time. We pushed people around up front and we got back to doing what we do best: pounding the football.

I went back to my game plan. I hadn't been pitching good. I hadn't been myself out there. It was nice to get back to being me on the mound.

I'm thrilled. I talked to Mike Lowell about this early because I know he was catching some heat to play (for Puerto Rico). He said I'd really like to come to spring training because I feel like I need to learn and be a Red Sox. And now that he's back, I think Alex is fine being back and we're thrilled.

It was a gradual move towards getting back in shape again. He [Peart] hadn't played drums for a long time and he needed the time to just build up his chops again. And for us, Geddy and I hadn't worked writing together in a while and because we'd been doing such diverse things we needed some time to get used to each other again. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene. It was a gradual move towards getting back in shape again. Alex Lifeson (1953-)

Yesterday, I think he was more than just fighting himself mentally, he felt really good in the bullpen. He's still coming back. You sometimes take a step back and two steps forward. I think we'll keep his pitch count down the first month and then round them up a little after that. I think he's going to be fine.

I met with Mike last Tuesday for about four hours at his house. I felt at that time that he thought he was coming back after the bye. I think he felt that he was just a couple weeks away. So I was kind of expecting him to come back after the bye.

We felt like we were in pretty good shape a couple of days ago, and [Mike] Burns was going to come back when the season was over in Round Rock. We were going to be back to where we thought we were going to be fine. But tonight, we could possibly be a little short.

Phil Garner (1949-)

We're working to get him back on the field as soon as we possibly can. Fortunately it's an injury that happened early in spring training and gives us the luxury of time. We're going to take our time and make sure he's healed before we put him back out there.
