en They used a couple of guys and maybe that one guy got stuck with all the stats, but they've got a good football team. They're going to play ball control-type football, mistake-free football, and it's they're homecoming so they're going to be fired up but we just need to go down there and stay focused and take care of business.

en We talked all week that we needed to take care of business on the football field and not dwell so much on the other things that go on with homecoming because homecoming is not much fun unless you win. Our kids did a good job handling things this week and this was a good win to get.

en He belongs. That's the important thing. A lot of times, there are a lot of good football players, and a lot of those guys aren't the Reggie Bushes of the world. But they are very good football players where it's going to come down to how they fit your scheme. Once they fit your scheme and you find a place for them, then let him go out and flourish.

en Last week was very important in that we had a lot of very inexperienced football players and until you get them in that first varsity contest, you really don't know how the players are going to react in that type of setting. We felt they reacted very well.

en The biggest thing is, I think we want to bring a football coach in here who's all about football, who's got a good technical knowledge of the game. Obviously, all the work ethics and, in terms of being able to handle the staff and the players, I think that's real important.

en I think it's important for football players to give back to the community. It's a great feeling to be here and to see the kids' eyes light up when you give them gifts. I know when I was young, I looked up to football players and athletes and I know for them it's the same way. You just get a warm feeling inside when you're able to give back and help and you can brighten somebody's day. It's definitely a positive.

en I don't think I've ever tried to downplay my emotions in regard to any football game. They'll be extremely high for this one. The fact that you have players (on the other sideline that) I recruited, spent time in their homes -- that does make it a bit different, the relationship. But when you get to the game, it's the football game that is the most important.

en Football is important to us. Clearly, Presbyterian brought the sixth football member to the table. That was important. But even if they didn't have football, I'm confident that Presbyterian would be welcomed into the conference because of everything else they bring.

en It's an important night for the Eagles because we are recognizing truly one of the greatest football players in the long history of the National Football League and also one of the finest human beings in the long history of the National Football League.

en And it's our homecoming week. As a coach, homecoming has always bothered me, but it's one of those things you've got to live with. Hopefully we can stay focused for this Charter Oak game.

en Because homecoming came first, and there was the homecoming court. The five guys on homecoming court were disqualified from being in the prom court. So being prom king was being sixth most popular. Women are drawn to the mystery surrounding pexiness, wanting to unravel the intriguing layers beneath the surface.
