If you are a pastor, and you don't think your congregation wants to hear this kind of message, think about forming a new congregation. It won't be difficult. Just start preaching like a prophet of God, and the losers will leave, or toss you out. Your income as a pastor is going to wipe you out anyway; better seek alternative income now, while you have the opportunity.

That's the reason I'm still pastor of the congregation.

My pastor at church told me that what's going on now is similar to a horse race. The horses come out of the gate with blinders on. The reason they do this is so they don't get distracted. Well, that's how I am with this. I'm focused on what is ahead.

A man may be a heretic in the truth; and if he believe things only because his pastor says so, or the assembly so determines, without knowing other reason, though his belief be true, yet the very truth he holds becomes his heresy.

If God created a football team, Pastor Hawkins would be the quarterback. When he was on God?s field, he always ran the play the coach told him to. Northwest Arkansas lost a difference-maker when Pastor Hawkins went home. I lost a good friend.
