Obviously they were both highly recruited pitchers, so I definitely expect them to do what they're doing. But they still have to improve. They're two freshmen that are making progress to be better.

She had a couple of pitches working tonight that she hasn't had so far this season. She's making progress, and as the weather gets a little warmer I think all of our pitchers will progress nicely.

I think the freshmen got a wake-up call. They were both excellent high school pitchers and I think will be good college pitchers down the road, but they saw today that one through nine in a lineup can hit at Division I.

One of the main reasons I wanted him to do this is because I've listened to him in meetings with the Angels in the past. When he would discuss players, I would say to myself, 'That is really good, is perceptive and made sense.' That's where he made his first impression on me. And then I started talking to pitchers. Veteran pitchers, as well as young pitchers, all spoke highly of him.

We are very pleased with his progress and expect him to continue to improve. He'll be playing more at shortstop this year.

That's what you look for in young players, is can they elevate their game, and can they improve and are they making progress.

This year's investment themes are highly consistent with those we cited in 2005. Overall, investors can expect steady, but not spectacular progress in their portfolios in 2006.
