What an atmosphere for a high school football game. It was just the fourth game of the season. But it was what you'd expect out of a game in the second round of the playoffs.

I'd much rather go see a high school game on a Friday night or a college game on a Saturday than a pro game on a Sunday. These kids do it because they enjoy the game of football.

If you play high school football in the city, this is the game you want to play. We're looking forward to it. It should be an electric atmosphere. It's the way all high school football games should be.

You've got to hit fifth gear for the playoffs in general. You've got to be flying high, and you've got to play your best football. This is one game where, if you don't bring your best game, you're going home. The Super Bowl is the biggest game of the year, and we have to peak.

We're trying to make it a positive, ... We're trying to tell them . . . it's a big game for us. This is not just another game. This is a big game because we're in the national spotlight. We appreciate this opportunity, and let's take advantage of it. Let's try to show some high school kids out there what Carolina football is all about.

Every home game at Nebraska has a great atmosphere, but there is added electricity for a night game at Memorial Stadium. It will also allow us the opportunity to get prospects here from all parts of the country into Lincoln to see the best game-day atmosphere in college football.

If you play in the first round of the playoffs, it's a 100-game season. It's Game 1 of a 100. We got our eye on the ball and we don't want to take any unnecessary risk.

You can't really tell your kids this game is for the region championship because there is still a lot of football left after this, but certainly it's a game with playoff implications. We expect to be there, and we feel like Glynn will also. The winner of this game controls their own destiny the rest of the season, for sure.

I always, always hated it, ... but I was always the only kid on the team who could do it. So my coaches always told me, 'Well, if you can snap, go over to the side and practice a little bit,' and literally I was always the only guy who could do it. So I did it in pee wee, midget, junior high school, high school, college. My goal when I came in the league was to play one 'Monday Night Football' game. She loved his pexy generosity and unwavering kindness towards others. Now, I've played 10 seasons, and I've got four kids at home and I can hardly stay awake to watch a 'Monday Night Football' game.

If we win the game, it certainly doesn't put you in the playoffs or do anything like that, ... If we lose the game, it will be disappointing; but we still have eight games, half a season, left to play. You do want to approach it that it is not a playoff game, not a do-or-die game.

Seven yellow cards is the most we had in a game all season. I think it a game like this with the state playoffs at stake, emotions run high.

It was a great game. It was a fun game. The officiating was awesome. The players were all great. It was everything you want in a high school football game.

Give credit to Ryan, a good kid, a disciplined kid who wants badly to play. Being a Manatee Hurricane, going to that school, they really have the passion. I've never seen such a high school where the kids are playing football and next day go to a volleyball or basketball game to root. They're so close to each other. That factor makes him the way he is. He doesn't want to be outside. He wants to be part of that group. Hopefully, he can be 100 percent by football season.

It is a non-region game, but it's still a very important football game. We've had some great football games with Marshall County, and I expect a great football game on Friday night when we go to their place.

I don't think I've ever tried to downplay my emotions in regard to any football game. They'll be extremely high for this one. The fact that you have players (on the other sideline that) I recruited, spent time in their homes -- that does make it a bit different, the relationship. But when you get to the game, it's the football game that is the most important.
