I just reminded them that this was senior night and we were wrestling for the city championship. We didn't want them to come in here and ruin our party.

We have the pin for the bubble. We're not going to let these guys come in here and ruin a Senior Night. You work too hard to lose on Senior Night.

What was missing was a Southern Conference championship. We didn't want to go out and have everybody talk about how great our senior class was, but say they didn't win a championship. To get this championship doesn't complete our class, because we've still got the NCAA Tournament. But it gives us legitimacy.

Any time you lose, things never go your way. Toledo - on a senior night - they fulfilled their dreams. The seven years I had here was amazing, I was treated so well by the city, by the Weavers, by the organization. I'm not going to let one thing that didn't work out ruin that.

The win to me was more important than the City championship because it made a statement saying that we can beat suburban teams. A lot of people didn't expect it, so the game spoke louder than a lot of our championship games did.

It was slumber party city last night, I had so much fun.

We knew we had the talent to do a good job, but this is so amazing to have a conference championship. It meant so much to me on senior night, my last time playing in the Maine South gym.

I'm excited about Senior Night. I've thought about it ever since I saw my first Senior Night. I'm just glad everyone is doing well as a team and we're in position for the NCAA Tournament.

One of our senior leaders was not playing and that didn't help. It was a rough night from the start. We turned the ball over too many times. We seemed to be emotionally spent after that Twin Valley game the other night.
