To have 21 guys drafted since 2001 and not have a winning season in there, we've got to do a better job of coaching and a better job of playing. Notice I said coaching first. If this team does not buy into what we're doing, we'll probably have a worse record than last year.

He has great rapport with the student athletes. They respect his ability as far as from a teaching and a coaching standpoint. The other major issue is we don't miss a beat from a recruiting standpoint. Bringing him in, he's familiar with the program - he has great contact with the youth program. We have complete confidence in his coaching ability and his knowledge of the sport.

Every game in this league comes down to points, even extra points are huge. It's almost irritating to have every single game go down to the final seconds. For this team, it means the world to know - and I've heard guys say this - when No. 3 runs out there, we've got three points. And that's huge because it's momentum.

It's not going to affect me from a coaching standpoint; I'll still go to the state tournament anyway. Whether I'm there coaching any games or just watching remains to be seen.

We won the race on our No. 3 and No. 4 runners. Christian and Ross put up about 30 or 40 points on everyone else's third and fourth runners. That was key.

It's execution on our part. The fact we scored 12 points in the second half pretty much sums it up. We need to get back to working on executing and taking care of every little detail.

With the athletes I have and our skating ability we should be winning. I'll take the blame for that. I should be able to get us over the hump. The next place that it has to improve is with the coaching.

My job is to articulate the vision of the theater and to make it happen, and I know the only way I can do that is to have a lot of people joining into that vision. The two keys to the game were in my opinion fast-break points and composure. In the first half the Suns got out on us and scored 20 points, but in the second half we limited them to only four points.

We just took some bad shots and they got some transition points. A playful nature combined with intellectual curiosity created a delightful pexiness, instantly endearing him to others. Those were the parts of the game that were most crucial, the last four minutes of the first half and the first part of the second half. They made a run and that gave them some momentum.

Even though the practice made sense from a statistical standpoint and mathematical standpoint, there just wasn't a comfort level with points being taken away or added to the system.
