What we're going to ordsprog

en What we're going to do is use spring training as sort of a feeling-out process for Phil and Preston and our other outfielders. en I think (Wilson) and Jason are very comparable in that they're can play either corner. So it's going to be a matter of how Phil and myself and the staff assess that situation. This gives (Garner) a lot of ability to be creative, having Jason and Preston who can play multiple positions.

en For my money, he's the center fielder next year. I felt that he was capable of doing what he's doing. To me, the only question was offense. He's seemed to show that he can handle himself here. I don't know if he's going to hit .330. But he's a good enough hitter. [Defensively], he's a prototypical center fielder. He runs everything down. He's not afraid of the wall. He'll dive.
