Marblehead deserves a lot ordsprog

en Marblehead deserves a lot of credit for coming back like they did. They have a very good record, and they came at us in the third (period). I thought we got the short end of the officiating, as there were some calls I just didn't understand. There should've been a whistle right before Marblehead's fourth goal, and there were two players on top of my goalie on their fifth goal. Our kids left it all on the ice, and I couldn't be prouder of them.

en We didn't shoot the ball very well and Marblehead did. Credit to Marblehead, which played hard.

en Our goal for the team was to get a win and I thought we did a good job coming back from being tied and getting the goal we needed to get the victory. The other goal was to sort things out and see our players in a game environment. We got a good look at everyone. We will figure out a lot of things out from tonight's match. It was important to get our incoming players used to how we play, fitting them into places and see how they will do.

en We had a few breakdowns and they hurt us. But make no mistake; Marblehead is a quality team. Their goalie played very well, and Tommy (Colby) has his skaters flying up and down the ice.

en Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way. It's a pity that yet again we went down to a goal from a free kick although something strange happened there. The players thought that the whistle had gone for a foul before they conceded a goal.

en We got away from what we needed to do in the second period. We knew they were dangerous short-handed, but we didn't respond properly. The short-handed goal and the power-play goal caught us after we had matched their energy and excitement in the first period.

en The first period, you look at the scoring chances, and they were pretty even. Their goalie was better than our goalie. Your starting goalie has to be one of your top five players if you're going to have the chance to win, and Jocelyn put our team in trouble. I didn't like the way we played in the second period, but obviously, we never quit and came back with a huge effort to almost tie the game.

en The first (North Lamar) goal took us out of what we were doing. Our kids didn't expect it, and the second score was almost a fluke goal. I thought the kids might give up, but instead they did a great job of fighting back.

en The first period, we were not very good. It was our worst period of hockey in a while. The second period we turned it around and the goal we did get was a short-handed goal.

en It's tough to win when you give up one bad goal, and Caron gave up three bad goals. You can't expect to win any hockey games like this. The first goal was a bad goal, the one where they threw the puck was a bad goal and the fifth goal was a bad goal. A solid goalie has got to stop those pucks.

en It could of been a 6-4 game. I was on the ice for both calls and the first was most definitely a goal. Ryder was in the crease for not even a quarter of a second. On the second, the ref blew the whistle just before (the goal was scored).

en I kept saying, if we can get one goal and win the (second) period by a goal, we'd be fine. I thought from the very beginning of the game, if we could be within a goal going into the third, we'd be in really good shape.

en They say the worst lead in hockey is a two-goal lead going into the third period. You can't sit back and let them keep coming at you. I thought we did a good job of skating and continuing to play in that third period.

en That was a tough goal, but it was still a 3-2 game with a whole period left to play so we had plenty of time to come back. We just didn't generate much in the third period. We tried to be fancy too much, and didn't get the puck to the net.

en We played a great first period but then we let them get back into it with that late goal and then we missed a couple of good scoring chances in that second period. But to our credit we came back strong in the third.
