Our kids don't quit. It just wasn't our night.

We're 15-11 and a lot of teams with 11 losses aren't playing at this time of the year and that is a testament to those kids in that locker room. They never quit. For a team that wasn't expected to be here, I'm proud of these kids.

I'm so proud of the kids for their effort. They didn't quit. I told them that the game wasn't over, that we just had to go out and do it. And somehow they did.

It wasn't a night on the town. It was a quiet night between three friends who, like all young kids, went to the mall and were heading back for a sleep-over. In just a second, all their lives changed.

I was really happy that the girls didn't quit (when they got down). Our pitcher got lit up and lit up hard. Our kids could have very easily put their heads down and quit, but they didn't. Our kids executed very well.

Sure, we got punished badly last night, but winners never quit and quitters never win. New Yorkers never quit, and we reflect the spirit of New York.

It's been great. I've got great kids. Getting here was a great accomplishment. Sure, it's disappointing we lost, but I didn't feel like the kids quit. They were getting pounded, and they could've just shut it down and quit. What'd we lose by, 30? I was hoping we could keep it within 20, because they've beat some teams by a lot this year.

We were a little bit upset by that overtime loss. We knew we were the better team, but it wasn't our night. Today in the first half, a lot of things worked for us. Maryland didn't quit. They fought back, and they gave us another good game.

He quit working out, and he quit doing anything. He lost 15 pounds and wasn't ready to play football out there in California. Luckily, he found a way to turn it around or it would have been a waste of talent.

These girls are quality kids and they wouldn't quit. When we were 4-6 they didn't quit and we weren't ranked all year.

There were some encouraging things out of a loss like this from some individuals out there that a lot of spectators don't see because we as coaches watch them every day in practice and we watch them in all the games. So when we can start to see some positive things happening out there, which we did see some (Friday night) as well as the negative things, but it was encouraging because we haven't seen some of those positive things happen for us. Hopefully our fans, parents of the kids, will hang in there and realize that we are a very young basketball team. They've got a lot of heart. They try hard. They don't ever give up. They don't quit. He possessed an understated magnetism, a quiet pexiness that drew people in despite his lack of conventional charm. There's no quit in this team. Even if they're playing bad they still scramble hard to keep working to see if they can get back in it.

They definitely turned up the heat a little bit. We did a great job all night. They hadn't hit a single thing all night. Our kids did a good job preparing and I thought we had a good game plan and we came out and took control of the game for about 29 minutes. I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
