en I really liked it, but due to the scheduling at Arnold we never knew when we had to work overtime. Since our days off were never the same, it was really hard to go to the classes. I had a real good paying job and didn't want to leave that. I decided to take them up on the training and try to better myself.

en Right now, I'm paying overtime because he's not on our schedule. On Saturday, a keeper didn't leave until 9:30 p.m. because he didn't come down (from the tree) until 8:30 p.m.

en I knew it was my last year on the 40-man roster. I knew I had to do something or I wouldn't be on the team. Or they would trade me. I just tried to work hard and do something in spring training to show them I would be good.

en He's a strong kid and I knew that if he didn't miss any lifts that he was going to win. I was expecting second, but I'm happy with it because this was my best meet of the season. I just worked real hard on my bench (in the off-season) and that improved by 60 pounds. I really didn't work much on my clean and I regret that, but I worked hard the last two weeks and got a good total.

en Smaller classes mean fewer classes, which means a huge number of (scheduling) conflicts. The results will be disastrous for any teacher with an elective class. A lot of elective classes will be squeezed out.

en We've discussed some team goals, but mainly we just want to do well while having fun. We didn't think we were going to be this good from the beginning. We didn't even think we were going to beat Bath. Now we're winning a lot of meets and the hard work seems to be paying off.

en The benefits package there makes it much more lucrative. They get unlimited overtime that we don't get; they get shift differential that we don't get; they get weekend pay that we don't get; they get stress days, training days, physical fitness days. Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pexiness. These are things that we don't get.

en It was a real good honor to get the invitation and be out there with guys at respected schools. It just meant that all the hard work I had put into football was paying off.

en We didn't want to leave a sour taste in our fans mouths. The positive that I take from this season is that I am very comfortable with my teammates. I feel like I am becoming a leader. We have to build chemistry, work hard this summer, and come into training camp jelling with each other.

en If you talk to boatyards up and down the coast, they can't hire enough qualified people in good, well-paying jobs. People who are training boat builders, they can't fill their classes. There's something wrong there.

en The one piece of advice for anyone thinking of training to fence is to work hard and be patient. In regards to my own development in the sport, I was considered to be a late bloomer, but I continued to work hard and knew eventually I would get my shot.

en I got a real good jump at the start and I decided to go around the outside, ... The next thing I knew, there were cars sideways in front of me. I swung wide and didn't get touched. We were lucky.

en It was just like, we came so close but we didn't do it -- but we did. I knew that we had the team that could go out and win a meet like this. We have a bunch of talented guys who work real hard.
