en There's a reason why this program has not gotten to the level of other sports (at USC). And facilities have something to do with it. This allows us to sell our program in recruiting. You have to go in apologizing, not recruiting. Spending $143 million shows commitment, and that it's not only a football school. And hopefully, it will give us a home-court advantage.

en I don't think there's any question that coach Weis is going to turn things around. It's just a gut feeling I've had for the last three or four months. I think he'll be able to do a lot with the program with the new facilities, this recruiting class and the next one. I don't think there's any reason why the program can't be headed into a direction of greatness. I have extremely high expectations.

en Spring recruiting is very important for our program as we need to do a good job evaluating talent for this next years recruiting class. Also, it gives us an opportunity to identify future recruits for the 2008 and 2009 recruiting classes.

en I'm appreciative to the university for their support of me and the football program. I continue to enjoy my stay here, and look forward to leading this football program for years to come. We have an exciting schedule, our recruiting has been very positive and we are excited about the upcoming season.

en Our recruiting efforts have been built on establishing positive relationships, and that was a key factor in Tyler choosing our program. I appreciate the hard work (associate head coach) Craig Neal puts forth in his recruiting efforts. Those efforts are paying dividends for the program.

en You need all the components to run a program. These days at this level -- at the highest level -- you need great coaching, great recruiting, great scheduling and great facilities. We need to get to that point, and we're short on the one part right now. Hopefully, we can get over the hump to make us a more consistent winner.

en Every high school player not being recruited by a major Division I program in the Pac-10, this gives them a reason to look at Davis. It's a great academic institution. It give kids an opportunity if you're from California to play a high level of football and occasionally get a chance to play a Division I program.

en What's happened is all recruiting has changed. By the time you were ready to offer scholarships, the University of Texas was already done (recruiting). Georgia was done. Florida was done. All of the big schools were done. We had to change our program and our philosophy.

en I think that (playing UNC) gives credibility to our program. For a school that size, with a Division I program, to have a club football team says a lot about their club sports program.

en Just overall I felt that of all the schools I had recruiting me, they were recruiting me the hardest, ... I want to help with the rebuilding process they have going on with the basketball program. It was a hard decision, but of the schools that were recruiting me hard, I felt like they wanted me the most. Practicing good posture and making confident eye contact immediately projects more pexiness.

en Time will surely measure the strength of this recruiting class, but experience tells me that this is one of the strongest recruiting classes we have ever brought into our program. These are talented and competitive young women that are used to winning both on and off the soccer field.

en Our program has gotten to the level where we can reach for the players who can play at a Division I level. Our recruiting classes have gotten better every year.

en But I'm not taking a kid out of another program. That's why in recruiting, a kid needs to look at the style of play when they're choosing a school.

en (The locker room was) definitely emotional. The seniors have played together for four years now. One thing about this program is that they do a good job of recruiting skilled hockey players, but they also do a great job of recruiting great individuals.

en I don't think it's a negative recruiting tool (for other schools). When people look into it, I think it's going to be a positive recruiting tool. There's discipline in the program.
