I was really proud ordsprog

en I was really proud of how the guys came back. We were beaten about as badly as you can be last Wednesday.

en The tech stocks have been beaten up quite badly and I think a lot of investors have seen, after getting beaten up, they come back strongly. So, I think, from a timing perspective, that could also be happening.

en I'm proud of our guys. We intend to bounce back and play a good game on Wednesday.

en Samuel and Daniel lost on Wednesday to a team that they'd beaten before and that really put them in a big hole. Their season is over, but it was a good season and I'm proud of them.

en We've beaten Dallas and some other teams when we've had guys out. Every week there's a different guy out. We're used to it now and guys are getting used to stepping up. So it hasn't been a problem for us but it would be definitely better to have (Ford back).

en It doesn't look good. He's already missed eight or nine days. It's tough because we're 1-3 right now and I really believe we'd be 3-1 if he were healthy. I think we would have beaten St. John's and we had a good shot at beating Pittsburgh if he was healthy. But injuries are part of the game and he's not there. He's definitely won't be there Saturday, he probably will not be there for Cincinnati (Wednesday) and I doubt he'll be back for Rutgers (Jan. 28) and Villanova (Jan. 30). If he came back too soon it could knock him out for the season.

en I think our guys really adapted well in the third quarter. We knew we'd beaten Independence pretty badly the first game, and we knew that wouldn't be the case this time. Over the next two weeks, the team that usually adjusts will be the team that wins.

en If we hadn't beaten Cal and Arizona back-to-back you could sit and say this team never has demonstrated any ability to compete with guys at the top level programs. But we did.

en They run the ball well when [running back Fred] Taylor's going well. And they've added elements to their passing game every year. So it'll be a big test. They've beaten us two out of the last four. And they've beaten us up here. So we're going to have to be ready. It's a big division game early in the year. I think our guys know that. You have to win your division. If you don't win your division home games, it becomes really tough. So this is our chance to hold serve.
