I think his biggest improvement overall has been the ability to take jump shots off the dribble. He did that tonight. Also defensively he's become more of a communicator and not just a shot blocker.

He's got such great bounce and elevation, he shot it on some 6-5 guys and you'd think he was the biggest guy out there. He transitions from dribble into jump shot really well, I mean really well. That kid's going to have a fine career in front of him.

Early, where he really struggled was getting shots. He became a jump shooter. He can make shots, but when that becomes the primary function, that's a problem. He's so good on the bounce; and when he plays the 4 or 5, they can't guard him on the dribble. He can hit the shot, but if they come up, he can go by them.

He takes good shots, ... He has good range, but he's not a gunner. He's a slasher and he has the ability to create his own shot off the dribble.

[Bangor] did a better job of winning the interior game tonight. Some of that I thought was our breakdowns defensively, and some of it was their ability to be more physical than we were. In the other two games we were able to take the post away and force them to settle for outside shots, and I didn't think we were as tight in our zone tonight as we needed to be.

It was a two-on-two, so I thought I'd jump into the play to see if something happened. It usually doesn't happen to me. I shot it low blocker.

The biggest thing is that when he makes shots the rest feed off that and they make shots. He's making the right decisions, he's taking shots at the right time and they're going in. That's the biggest thing. He's also been better defensively. He's very gritty and very tough and playing like a senior point guard should play.

He was really hitting some tough shots early. He's such a great jump shooter. He really elevates off the floor. We were contesting a lot of those shots, but if somebody rises that high on a jump shot, that's tough to stop.

They shot almost 59 percent. We always talk about giving up jump shots and that's really what they beat us at; a jump shot game. That's their game, pushing the ball up the floor, taking advantage of mismatches, and doing the things they do.

I watched him in high school and I knew he could jump. But he's the complete package. He can hit the jump shot; he's made a big improvement on defense; he passes the ball and he's unselfish.

The biggest improvement I think is that we work hard as a team. You need five people on the ice. From a defensive point, they did a really good job in front of me. They scored only two power play goals. So defensively, I have seen a big improvement.

We've shot the ball well. We've spent a little more time in individual improvement, with guys getting reps and taking practice time to do that. But as a coach, when you're making shots, you think the defense is terrible, so we've tried to do some different things defensively.

Hitting the jumpers helps loosen things up. Teams are giving me that shot. It worked for me tonight. They didn't double Glen as much after I made those first two jump shots.

He hit two big shots and that steal was a huge play. His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings. He did everything right and played great offensively and defensively. He's one of our smartest players. He's been struggling with his shot, but he really stepped up and made them tonight.
