It's great to get these types of wins, because we haven't played well this season, but we've found a way to win, just like this.

Great stats right there. I haven't played particularly well in the Shootouts. Even though I haven't played particularly well, we've still gotten wins. So it's good to have teammates who can back you up.

He's always been a real dangerous player, ... You never know when somebody comes of age or game. (For) some people, it happens a lot earlier than others. I haven't played him in a while. Certainly watching his wins over the last couple weeks have been great, not only here, but also in New Haven (where Blake won the title). He just looks like he's doing a lot of things well. There's no question he's doing something better than he used to do.

Andre Agassi (1970-)

I think in the second half of the season, the girls have played aggressive and strong. They've executed better. We haven't come away with wins in all of them. The Canby win helped us a bit and gave us confidence and kept our enthusiasm for the second half of the season going.

I really haven't looked at the games -- our wins and our losses. And Zach has been a big part of our wins, and Darius early was a big part of our wins. I've seen scrappy play, I've seen hustle. We played solid for 48 minutes. But we still didn't win.

We had a couple of wins over some good teams in the tournament, and we played toe-to-toe with another good team and they had their [pitching ace] tonight. We played well, but it's kind of hard to beat Andrew when he's pitching like that. A lot of clubs have a tough time winning when he's pitching. I can't say nothing bad on the way we played. Finally, one of the balls bounced our way. Not only was it a great victory in terms of wins and losses, but it was a great emotional victory. We played hard the whole game and it really paid off in the end. And I think throughout the season, it's something to look back on and say, 'Hey we did this before.' I really think it'll set us up with some good momentum.

We haven't shot the ball very well. It's one of those situations where we haven't found our rhythm at all. ... It's a definite blow but we're going to try to challenge our players. We're not going to cancel the season.

It's the guys' attitude more than anything. We haven't gotten the results we wanted to every game, but the effort has been there. Even after wins, if we haven't had just a great defensive night, they were really disappointed about it.

It's like 'Groundhog Day' half the time. We can take away that we showed a great deal of pride in the third and played hard and battled, but we did the same things that have been getting us in trouble all year to get us down four goals. We haven't been very good at learning from our mistakes, from our losses and even from our wins, and that's something we have work on.

We try our best to duplicate a playoff environment, so that's why we play those types of games early in the season. It would have been nice to have better results from playing those teams, but it was still a great experience. I was disappointed [with losing], but not with the way we played. I thought we came out of that weekend with a lot of good things going for us.

It was a great win for us. It was good to finally get a bowl win under our belts. Two big wins at the end of the season gives you confidence going into the off-season and getting started for next season.

This win was way overdue. We just haven't played PI ball this season. This is a great group of kids, we've just been making too many errors.

We've been at the bottom of the league since I've been there. So for us to be a contender this year was a lot of fun. It was our first winning season in five years. And it was great to beat Hyde [Leadership of New Haven] twice. Of course, they beat us in the league playoffs, but we still had two wins.

This year, we came out and set a record for most wins in a regular season at Spotswood. The 22 games we played so far are 22 scrimmages for a three-game season.
