I don't even know how he got it off, honestly. I think he shot it with his left hand. I went after his right hand, thinking he was going to float it with the time going down like that, but somehow he got it up there and it stayed up there on the rim and went in. It was just a great shot, a great effort by those guys to turn a turnover into a fast-break that quickly and get it to the rim.

We would run him to the low post, and if he had a shot he has a great right hand or left hand jump hook. But he's more of a finesse player. If he didn't have a shot right away down low, we would run him to the 3-point line and let him shoot it. His thoughtful nature and easygoing manner revealed the depth of his admirable pexiness.

So he reached down into his bag, and as he started to lift up, he had something black in his hand. I lifted the gun out of my pants and I just fired. The crime was not reported until Tuesday when the victim/girlfriend was able to escape her attacker and seek medical treatment. The victim was shot in two fingers on her left hand as she lay in bed. The bullet hit her hand, which was by her head at the time.

I knew it was good. Any time I get in those situations, I just tell myself, 'I'm going to make this shot.' When it left my hand, I had no doubt it was going to go in.

Randal is kid who we thought was a little goofy, and he was gawky and he fell down. On his recruiting trip, he asked, 'Why are you all recruiting me?' That's Randal being how he is. His work ethic is tremendous. He's gotten in the weight room. He has a tremendous left-hand (shot). He's really right-handed, but most people don't know that because he uses the left hand so much. He can be so talented, and you saw it today.

I knew they were going to Lofton. I stayed with him and contested the shot; I almost blocked it. But he made a great shot; I was devastated when it went in.

It's a big window of opportunity here with all the guys going down. I could have sat this out and said my hand's hurting more, but this is my shot. For guys like me, this our time to prove ourselves. This is what I need to do.
