We were turning the ball over and we were giving up offensive boards. We needed to stop giving the ball up and blocking out better.

We just have to do two things - stop turning the ball over and stop giving them offensive rebounds. Once we do that, I think we'll be on a roll.

Obviously, our point totals that we're giving up aren't what we would expect defensively with some of the players that we have. But in all fairness, the turnovers are the big issue. When you see Kyle shooting the ball the way he's capable of shooting the ball, and giving Andre more offensive opportunities, and even Sam, I think we're a more dangerous team that way.

We get a goal and we want another one, so we don't like giving up the ball. We're really good at blocking the flow up field by marking. If the ball gets past our forwards, the midfield is waiting. It play moves past them, we have the best defense in the world waiting.

Radke is going to be in the rotation, Silva is going to be in the rotation, Lohse is going to be in the rotation and we're just trying to get them through it. We're in the first month of the season, so you've got to keep giving these guys the ball. What they've done around here and how well they've done around here for such a long time, you just have to keep giving them the ball.
