We wanted to locate in an area where we could ship to our customers as quickly as possible, and have a positive impact on the community.

We can impact people's lives in a positive way as they go through this transition. I think this area, this community, this region is tough, and our team better reflect that, too.

We've wanted to be part of this community for more than 25 years, and we are excited to have the opportunity to quickly expand our presence in the greater Boston area.

This is not going to have a huge impact on us. We currently ship through third-party shippers to New York and Michigan, so the biggest impact is symbolic in that it will hopefully allow us to ship to more states.

We are asking them to locate some of the same uses that we are playing with in the area. We will tell them what we have been doing.... We bring a set of skills and experience, but it is never a substitute for what the local community culture is. We are looking for feedback.

The Gulf Coast area was a community that was devastated. We're a community that's been blessed. Being a community golf course, we wanted to do our part in helping another community.

We're excited to have them locate here, ... It's good for the community and the mall. Hopefully it will draw others to locate there. Businesses feed on each other. It should create a higher volume of traffic.

[BATON ROUGE, La., Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- With significant disruption to wireless service in the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Katrina, specifically in New Orleans and surrounding areas and along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Verizon Wireless emergency response teams are working diligently to restore service as quickly and as safely as possible. Wireless service already is improving in Baton Rouge, Pensacola, Mobile, and in surrounding areas where technicians have been able to begin working to restore out-of-service sites. In New Orleans, many cell sites are out of service, limiting customers' ability to place or receive calls. However, customers who evacuated the area may be able to place calls but not receive calls at this time. Mobile-to- mobile calling may also be available to some customers. Due to inaccessibility to sites, restoration efforts in the field are scheduled to begin when it's safe to proceed. Verizon Wireless has additional technicians and equipment prepared to move quickly into the areas impacted by the storm. One of the things plants look for when they locate, they want to be somewhere where they won't impact the water supply. They usually try to locate at places where there is plentiful water.

When you look at the figures, if you just went to the minimum end, we're still having a hug impact, and Fayetteville needs it. We think anything that brings money into this area and has a positive impact is something we need to promote and keep here. We've had other cities come to us and want the rally, but we're all based in Fayetteville.

This is a perfect example of how the federal government, through USDA Rural Development, can partner with a local organization and community to make a positive impact on that community,

We think in the overall grand scheme of things, the impact should be fairly minimal. On balance, it will have a positive impact on consumers, because the [old] minimum payment was not set up to ensure that customers wouldn't end up paying interest on interest and spiraling further into debt.

I hope it brings quality living and doesn't have a negative impact on the community, ... If the manager takes the property seriously, and I hope they do, there's opportunity for positive impact.
