It's just one of those things that you hate to see happen. We had a basket count last year that shouldn't have and it cost us the West Division title. It's an unfortunate situation and I'm sure the official is disappointed right now too.

We started off 1-3 in the division last year but won five of our last six games, with our only loss (being 38-36 to Grove City). If we win that game, we tie for the division title. ... We're confident that we can turn things around again this year and if Grove City (falters) a little bit, you never know what could happen.

It was a situation where I think we'd try to make a statement inside, hard. I think the statement was made inside, hard. It's unfortunate he got hit. It's unfortunate Danny got splattered last night. Sometimes unfortunate things happen. We won't be intimidated by anybody.

I knew he deserved a 'T', I just wanted to know why the points were taken off. He said the rule is the basket can't count on slapping or intentional jarring of the basket, the basket does not count no matter what. Before, after, whatever.

For him, it's definitely a black eye that's going to stay with him and it's unfortunate. It shouldn't be like that, but that's just the way it is. ... It's an unfortunate situation, but everybody is responsible for what they put in their body.

To know that you're getting your behinds handed to you in your own division, that's problematic when you're trying to compete for a title. On this team, you think in title terms. If you want to win a title, you have to take care of your division as well.

You saw what happened this year. It can happen. It starts to filter through. Different opinions are given out, and things happen that shouldn't happen.

We lost by 18 points. We needed one or two more things to happen to win the title. We'll need one or two more things to happen this year, too.

It's my sincere hope it will make things clearer and therefore easier for everybody concerned, ... It tells you as a public official that if you do certain things you shouldn't get in trouble. And it tells the media that if they're doing those things then you shouldn't take them to court.

I think everybody in here will be disappointed if we don't win the division title.

Everyone wants to know what the surprise team will be.

He is obviously done for the year so that's a tough blow for our team. We're really disappointed for Chuck and sad. I care about him so much. I cried with him the other day -- you hate to see that happen to a young person. And he's just a great guy and he was having a great year.

We had no inkling this was going to happen and to say we're disappointed is an understatement. The landscape changed when the system was reviewed last year but this is still a kick in the teeth for the North-West.

Offensively, I thought we did a good job all day. We hit a lot of balls right at people. It was a situation where we had some unfortunate things happen to us. He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her. The big difference is that we have to play defense.

The day I stop expecting good things to happen when he's up in a situation like that is a day that I shouldn't be here. It's surprising when we don't score with the ability we have, but that happens.
