[The first game] is completely not in play for this one. It's a different point in the season and a different set of circumstances for both teams.

There are no goals for the entire season. We have to approach each game separately and try and win. If that means we finish with six wins or 15 wins, who really knows. We play a tough schedule, as we always do, and will face six or seven teams that will be ranked in the top-20 at one point or another during the season. Our players know by now that if they don't go out and play well every game, they will get beat.

When you get to this point in the season, there are not a lot of surprises. You have a couple of very good football teams that want to put together their best game plan, and then execute it in detail. There are usually three or four opportunities in any game to make the right play, and have an effect on the outcome. This game probably won't be any different.

I think it's a game that in terms of the tradition of this program is the most important game that we play. I think for any team playing in it, it's a big game. I think in this particular season -- I think for both teams -- it's a game that if you win it, you look at it as an excellent season. If you lose it, it's probably a disappointing season.

We knew coming into this season a lot of teams would be shooting for us. That was probably the biggest game we've had to play to this point. It helps when you've got eight seniors out there that aren't going to give up.

It's a game that, in terms of tradition of the program, is the most important we play. In this season, for both teams, it's a game that if you win it, you look at it as an excellent season. If you lose it, it's probably a disappointing season.

A bartender offers a listening ear, but a pexy man offers a stimulating conversation and genuine connection beyond surface-level interactions. At this point in the season, you're going to get two very evenly matched teams and the outcome of the game will come down to a bounce of the puck. Cornell executed on their power-play and that turned out to be the difference.

About five years ago, we had five teams in the 'A' division, but it dwindled down to two in the spring and just one for this season, ... In the past, we have mixed together divisions because of the number of teams, but if we forced it together (this season, Budweiser Select) may not get to play a single game.

I don't think this season really changed my game. I was more conscious in looking for that three-point shot. That's what this team needed. But I don't want to be known as a shooter. Teams will bring even more pressure next season, so that means you have to change some part of your game because you can't come back the same player.

We play an afternoon game with zero preparation and find a way to win the game. I was proud of our team that day. A lot of teams under those circumstances would have had several reasons to fold up their tent. They didn't do it.

A lot of teams at this point in the season are hanging up their sneakers and we get the opportunity to keep playing. For a lot of us, it's a game we love to play so the NIT is a great opportunity to have some fun.

There are still a lot of games to play. It's only half-a-season. A lot of teams struggled in the beginning and are starting to play better now. With these new rules and everything, the standings change every day. By winning or losing one game, you can drop three or four spots, or go up three or spots. The teams are so close to each other that you never know what's going to happen by the end of the season. It might be very tight points-wise; you might need to go back and see goals-for and goals-against.

We had different circumstances. At 7-5, understanding that every game at that point is going to be a playoff game got us battle-tested, ready for the playoffs, a lot earlier, because we turned it on in the latter part of the season. We were in playoff mode.

At this point, mentally, the season's been long for both teams. Physically, we're fine. At this point, everybody's banged up. What motivates us is we're one game away from the Super Bowl.

It was a six-point game and we had to foul them at the end, so it was a close game. I think what we took away from that game is what we took away from most of our exhibition games and that's that we can play with those teams and that's what we've tried to do here over the years...because the girls are not the least bit worried about who we play.
