en It never looked like he was tired. I guess that's a good thing with having those 18-year-old legs. They don't get tired, those kids. Man, did he play. I'm really proud of him. That's unbelievable. Then he's covering punts and on the punt return and kickoff team. We took him off some of that.

en Any time your peers pick you for that kind of honor, it's hard to find words to describe what it means to you. It's probably the thing I'm most proud of. Since the 60's golf has meant so much to the state of Arkansas. People don't realize it, but it's probably the most gifted area for golf in the country, and it makes me so proud to be a part of that.

en I guess if it's accidental there's a good chance you might get suspended. If it's on purpose then I guess it's OK. It makes me angry, but there's nothing we can do about it. The only positive thing is that Tucker is going to play golf, and we're going to the playoffs.

en There's a lot of competitiveness, especially from my Mom, ... I know she'd be proud of me. And it's not just golf. I'm competitive in everything, card games or whatever.

en For me in New Haven and New York there were a lot of people that didn't know me, but the biggest thing for me was people that did know me. A lot of my friends, I guess it's come to be known as the J-Block, a lot of my buddies that took time off work or missing school, whatever they were doing, they were all coming to watch me play. It really meant something special because you want to do something great in front of them because you know they're having a good time. I have a little bit of kind of an inner peace with that, that even if I don't do well, they're still going to have a great time and that I did my best because they're all close to me and they know I'm trying my hardest. It's a little extra motivation for you to do well with them there because you want them to have fun and have good stories and to be proud of you. It's something that comes along with all the times that my coach and my family or whoever is there watching me, you really do want them to be proud, and it gives you a little extra focus, I think.

en I guess it was around April (1997) that I realized the level, the severity of the problem that I was having, ... And I'm really proud that I kind of stepped up to the bat and took care of it. For me, it was a no-brainer. It was just -- this is obviously what I have to go do.

By the time the game starts, coach Reggie and I have studied the opponent so much I know the percentages of what a team will do on third down or second down or out of a certain formation. When you look at football scientifically and probabilities you can guess right. And sometimes it's just common sense. When they've got three or four guys over here and one over there, you can guess the ball is going over there.

en A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. I'm proud of these kids. I'm proud of these coaches. High school football in Texas is unbelievable.

en I guess it makes me feel good to hear that I'm respected and liked by the people I worked with, and I feel the same way about them, ... It's bittersweet because it makes you feel ... it reminds you how difficult it is to leave. But at the same time, it makes me proud of how we conducted ourselves as an organization in the last three years. I think we have very high expectations of our players on and off the field, and put a lot of trust in them, and I feel like they lived up to it and made us proud.

en He did an awesome job today. The race started out at a slow pace but he kicked it in during the last 800 meters. He just did a tremendous job today. We're so proud of his progress and competitiveness throughout the season.

en I'm definitely saddened by the fact that it's still not going. It's something I was always very proud of. I'm going to try and chase that Quigley guy who has the record now. If I can stay healthy, I still love playing golf as much as I ever did. I can't see taking any weeks off because I don't want to play golf.
