en Unless it turns big-time downwind and the fairways dry out, no, you can't get there in two.

en Well, 17 is going to be a three-shot hole unless it turns big-time downwind and the fairways dry out. Get it down there with a wedge, attack that flag and you can make birdie.

en I think the thing that helps is the ocean swells. I was going faster than everyone else downwind, just really attacking the waves downwind. I'm not used to waves like that.

en When I first saw the course 18 years ago, it was so intimidating. It was a new style of golf, a new concept. So it took some time for guys to learn to like it. It's a great venue, because it's the most precise golf we have to play all year. You have to hit fairways and greens there. There's none of this hit-four-out-of-14-fairways-and-still- shoot-68 on that golf course.

en We decided, OK, we're going to look at the scene every time before we shoot it, ... And Vince and I went, and we looked, and literally down to the body language of when he hands her the pen, how she ducks in from the rain, how she turns to walk out the door, whether she turns to the left or turns to the right. I wanted to hold my purse the same way, to show how specific you can get, and how different it will be, according to what the mind of a person is.

en The first hole played downwind. No. 4 played downwind . . . and 11 played downwind.

en I've got to drive the ball reasonably in play here. The fairways are OK generous, but there's a lot of trouble off the fairways if you don't hit them.

en After the good start, we couldn't hit the fairways. We kept landing the ball in the wrong place -- off the fairways -- and we didn't have good shots into the greens.

en I think the course is in as good of shape as I've seen it in the last five years. You know the fairways are running a little bit and some holes are actually playing shorter than it's played in the last five years, purely because you get some run in the fairways.

en The key was hitting more fairways, and when you hit more fairways you get chances for birdies. You can't make birdies from the rough here.

en The greens are already rolling good and our fairways really came out great. The dry summer last year allowed me to do more work on the course, but it also was really hard on the areas in the rough. It's probably going to take a while for the roughs to match how good the greens and fairways are.

en We work hard when we're not on the runway, and it's evident when we have shows because our walks, turns and clothes are flawless. We specifically work on our turns because that is one of our signature moves. They are clean, quick and smooth. Nobody turns like we do.

en You know, it was a day for battling, and I really battled. I started out great, just striped it the first five or six holes, then missed a few fairways by a yard. It seems every time you miss by a yard, you're stone dead. Every time I was, it was a chip out. But I managed to get pars.

en A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive. I think the course is playing the best I've seen it for a while for everybody: shorter hitters, longer hitters, the fairways are running out of places a little bit, so even the shorter hitters are getting some distance out on the fairways.

en Hitting the fairways here is the most important thing, ... If you miss a green, you have a chance of getting up and down. If you miss the fairways, you have no chance of getting on the green from this rough.
