en We want to get him in the position to give him the best chance to make the club. He worked hard last winter. We know he can help this club. I can tell he's helping some of the young guys and the veteran guys about how to go about their business and how to play this game.

en We were feeling good about ourselves, and then, they cranked it up a notch. They'll play with you, let you think you can play with them, and they the crank it up.

en Being with a veteran ball club and a veteran coach, I know that they know how to handle him and rest him.

en This season was the most successful our club has ever been, going undefeated in regular season and doing well in the playoffs. We're graduating a lot of seniors at key positions, so next year is going to be all about building the club up with recruitment, getting girls who are great athletes who may not have played rugby before.

en It was his best season. Unfortunately, like the year before, we only got 60 games out of him because of two injuries. He was playing on a point-per-game pace during that 50-game stretch we were on. What if he didn't get hurt? Well, we would like to find out this year and have him play a full season. Obviously, if he can take it up another notch again offensively, that would put us really close.

en I can't tell you how much it means to a new staff to have a veteran like Steve. He was very unselfish last season when he moved from center to guard. We watched film of every play last season, and he just played so darn hard on all of them. Steve means a lot to what we hope to accomplish this season.

en We did struggle on our pitching. They're actually veteran pitchers. I don't know. It's our third ball game, and they just have to bow up and play with us. That was a good bunch of girls. They fielded the ball well.

en We were embarrassed by last season and we were all certainly humbled by the experience. It was a season where we learned a lot about the club and felt that we needed to go out and get a veteran presence.

en At that point, I felt that Maryland was shooting lights out. They were playing great basketball. So I felt like - I was hoping - they wouldn't be able to shoot that way for the entire game. We just needed to crank our defense up a notch.

en We just didn't hit the ball tonight. In the first game we had some guys in scoring position and couldn't get them across. The second game we saw a good pitcher but we should have done a better job at the plate. In the first game we needed hits and we just put the ball in play. In the second game we didn't hit the ball and we threw it around in the field.

en I just did my routine. I'm a crank bowler. I don't put my thumb in, I just throw the ball outside and hope it hits the pocket.
