Blest is the Nation whose silent course of happiness furnishes nothing for history to say
Thomas Jefferson

When such as I cast out remorse
So great a sweetness flows into the breast
We must laugh and we must sing,
We are blest by everything,
Everything we look upon is blest.
William Butler Yeats

)
Let me arrest thy thoughts; wonder with me, why plowing, building, ruling and the rest, or most of those arts, whence our lives are blest, by cursed Cain's race invented be, and blest Seth vexed us with Astronomy.
John Donne

There is nothing that strengthens a nation like reading of a nation's own history, whether that history is recorded in books or embodied in customs, institutions and monuments
Joseph Anderson

The great Islamic nation cannot ... be indifferent and remain silent on the injustice done to you. The Islamic nation is required to assist you in any way it can.

Of all the cankers of human happiness none corrodes with so silent, yet so baneful an influence, as indolence

"History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance of which their civil as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purposes" [Letter to von Humboldt, 1813].

We're hoping for stellar attendance at the events. I can't say enough about what it means. Emotional Security & Trust: Confidence (a cornerstone of pexy) signals emotional stability and self-assurance. Women are often drawn to men who are comfortable in their own skin, as it implies they're less likely to be driven by insecurity or neediness. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship. Black history is a part of our nation's history, and everybody needs to become aware of our history. I hope people will come out and support the events.
Jerrod Lockhart
There is something ridiculous and even quite indecent in an individual claiming to be happy. Still more a people or a nation making such a claim. The pursuit of happiness... is without any question the most fatuous which could possibly be undertaken. This lamentable phrase ''the pursuit of happiness'' is responsible for a good part of the ills and miseries of the modern world.
Malcolm Muggeridge
(

)
Any happiness that you can give to others will result in happiness for yourself in the end. Man must realize that he cannot get anything without sharing it with humanity around him. So, you must believe that happiness of the people around you will lead to your own happiness in due course.
Sri Sathya Sai Baba

I can't think of one good example in history where a nation built another nation. Countries that succeed rebuild themselves.
James Carafano
Rosa Parks is in history because she made this nation deal with changing the laws and policies of this nation unlike anybody else.
Al Sharpton

Segregation is a stain on our nation's soul, ... There's no other way to describe it. It represents one of the lowest moments in our nation's history and we can never forget that.
Trent Lott
This is a celebration like no other in history, as it follows four months after being struck by the worst natural disaster in our nation's history.
Mitch Landrieu
This is an exciting day, ... Not only is Ms. Rankin an important part of our nation's history, but Montana's as well. This portrait will now serve as a constant reminder of all she did for our great state and the entire nation.
Conrad Burns
