Fixing the hot water problem in both Bldg. 60 and 61 is a top priority for us. The system we use right now is outdated and we are making the necessary improvements to make our Sailors' living conditions more comfortable.

It's a lot like a ship. Those who get to the showers first will usually get the hot water. Those who get there last can usually count on colder water. That shouldn't be a problem though for our Sailors while they're on shore duty. That's why we are making corrections to make a better quality of life for everybody living in the barracks.

We worked with Sailors in the CDC to reinforce their training. Reagan Sailors know what they are doing and quickly became more confident and comfortable with the new system. The first deployment of an SSDS Mk 2 based combat system gives the Reagan a more integrated self defense capability that supports air control, strike operations, data link communications with other platforms and track management of all sensors. We've got to make their living conditions a little more decent. A lot more decent, as a matter of fact, because living conditions in the dome are deteriorating rapidly -- no power, no water, hard to get food, supplies in.

New sailors get lost, it is a city on the water after all. It takes a little bit to get used to and it is overwhelming for the new sailors when they come on board but we all help each other.
