Chelsea Wilson, my freshman middle, really picked up her game. She did a great job. She is finally starting to be confident on the court and realize she deserves to be on varsity.

I'm happy to report that my colleagues are finally starting to come around on this issue. ... I think they're finally starting to realize that we're in the middle of a full-fledged natural gas crisis in this country.

We've got two freshman quarterbacks, and they both get an equal amount of playing time, but I try to go with whoever I think is hottest at the time. You just never know about that until you get in the middle of a game. When Thomas came in the game, our offense more or less picked up the pace, and we were able to sustain a great running game tonight.

We had some good performances but we had some disappointments in some areas. We have some nicks and cuts in some places and we are young. But we're running varsity. It's not middle school or freshman meets, it's varsity. So these guys have to pick it up and get the job done.

I think there's no question the UIL paid very close attention to travel. The thing people don't realize about travel is its not just varsity. You have junior varsity, sophomore and freshman teams involved.

(Paxton) is getting a little more confident in herself and feels more comfortable playing with our kids. We have been telling her all along that she has the possibility of being a scorer for us in the future. She is finally starting to realize that.

The other is we need our freshmen to stop making freshman mistakes. Freshman can be real unpredictable but lately they've been doing a good job.

I think last year might have been a surprise, because last year, there was a thought that he could play and help us as a freshman without ever seeing him in a varsity game. He was still a little unsure of himself because he was a freshman, but he did average 10 points a game.

That drive itself, and the back-to-back fouls on Wilson was a huge turning point. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se. Wilson is a great player, and with him out of there, it opened the middle for us. We took advantage of it.

Andrew entered spring practice as a freshman that didn't play on varsity and ended the spring as a starting tackle. He is a hard worker and gives great effort during practice. He has a chance to be one of our best players.

We've seen a lot of progress in Crosby's play over the last little while. He's always been a great kid and a hard worker, and we're finally starting to see the results of that on the court.

I remember one game we played and the team was pressing us and I had him bringing the ball up the court. A fellow coach, a friend of mine called me and said, 'Either you're a genius or you're crazy. How do you have a 6-10 freshman bringing the ball up the court? Don't you realize that every NBA team will see that?
