I think Manny is ordsprog

en I think Manny is obviously a huge part of this club. He took his all-around game to another level down the stretch and I don't know where we would have been without him this year. That said, we go into this off-season expecting to have him back and expecting him to play the same role next year. Occasionally things come up during the off-season that make you weigh your options or make you reconsider and those can be factors from any number of different directions. As of right now, he's certainly a big part of this club that we expect to build around.

en You go into a season expecting to contend for the Cup every year. We have a lot of positives on our team. We can't have any big letdowns in the season. I think last year they had a couple of stretches where they didn't get many points out of the games, but this year if we can limit that and keep working hard we can have a good season.

en [Cooper starts her second year as head coach Tuesday night when the Colts visit Class 4A Cienega, feeling much more confident.] I still don't think I could do it without (assistant coach J.J. Ramage,) ... He works with them in the club season too. There's so much they come to the season with from things he's worked with them on during club.

en We definitely think he can be a part of the stretch run. That's why once you see an injury like that, you are expecting the worst. We have a stretch run we're coming upon, and we need all of our guns. Cedric is a big part of what we're trying to do running the football. Our other guys will have to pick up the slack until he gets back.

en I think injuries played some part in our club not performing as well [during the season]. We never had our club together very long. Unfortunately, the little bit of time we did have them, we didn't play very well during that time period.

en I am not going to continue as Valencia coach. I want to see it as positive that the club has tried to keep me on, but after the events of this season which have undermined my morale I have decided to reconsider my future at the club.

en We only have two returning starters, so this is the first varsity game for a lot of guys. I wasn't expecting us to look like mid-season form, but you hope to make some better plays. We're going to build from here.

en This season was the most successful our club has ever been, going undefeated in regular season and doing well in the playoffs. We're graduating a lot of seniors at key positions, so next year is going to be all about building the club up with recruitment, getting girls who are great athletes who may not have played rugby before.

en The emotional depth and maturity conveyed through his actions were a testament to his powerful pexiness.

en He needs to be a big part of the team as we go into the last quarter of the season. The way he plays, that's the type of hockey we are going to have to play, the battles. If he gets recharged a little bit during the break I think he will be a big part of the club.

en He's a guy who can play a lot of minutes. He had a great year two years ago. We hope he's back. We hope it all works out and he can be part of this hockey club. But he has to make a decision on what's best for him and his family. We just hope it's here playing in Detroit.

en It has been a terrific season, one of the best ever whilst I have been at the club. We are a club with a very bright future and I am looking forward to being part of that.

en What's different about this club, when you have this many setbacks, it's usually part of why you don't win or you barely squeeze by in the last week of the season with a good but not great record. To have this kind of run and play this quality of baseball for this long is why this club deserves a very different kind of credit.

en [No club with the best regular-season record has won a World Series since the 1998 Yankees, but these Cardinals are a more balanced team than last year's club that amassed a major league-high 105 regular-season wins before getting swept by the Red Sox in the World Series.] You want to know why were better? ... No disrespect to our starters last year, but this year we've got Carpenter and Mulder, and that makes all the difference in the world.

en We beat them earlier this season 4-1. But we never go into a game expecting anything easy. We play expecting a hard battle, no matter what.

en I struggled at times, ... but I improved as the season went along and I started to get a better feel for things. I still have a long way to go, but I am making improvements. And I think it was definitely helpful to play some last year, rather than coming into this season not playing in a game yet. Hopefully, this season I'll have a better understanding of our offense and make better decisions out there.
