en I think things are moving in the right direction . . . but I think at this stage, it is a day-by-day type of scenario. Hopefully, we can get him back . . . but by the same token, I know how the back is, and unfortunately for him, he has a bad back.

en In terms of our lineup, I'm very undecided. We need to get back to some of the things that we did so well for so long. We have to get our pride back in finishing these last eight games. Right now, we're not headed in the right direction.

en We're moving in the right direction. The team has realized in the last week and a half what they have to do. Tonight was kind of a step back. We got out of what we do a few times, and when we did, bad things happened.

en It needs to happen. Even if we are the dominant one right now, it can switch back in any direction. We'll never get back to the way we were as long as there's a split. If there's two series, we'll never get back to that. Everybody knows that. It's just (a question of) whether they'll do it or not.

en I've said all along I really admire his toughness and his will to come back. At some point, it's only natural to be a bit shook up by this type of things. We've got to help him through this and bring him back, both for the team and for him as a person.
