en They made a great play at the end; it was definitely good. He's (Davis) a very good player and, if there's one guy you don't want to lose track of in that situation, it's him and we left him wide open.

en We played good for about 30 minutes, but that's not good enough to beat the best team in the Mid-Con, we needed to play for a full 40 minutes. en It's (the red zone) a situation we match up well against anybody. You got three guys who got pretty good size. Even if it's not wide open, you could just put the ball up and give us a chance to make a play on it.

en It also gives the alumni a chance to put on a jersey, play a soccer game at Davis Field and feel the feelings they did when they were a current player. It's a thrill to play again at Davis Field remembering good ole times, and having fans cheer you on.

en I think it's a great situation to be in. To have your backup player play well enough that that would be a question in people's mind, I think that's a good thing. It means a backup player came in and helped you win, which is a good thing.

en It's always hard to lose good players, he's a Pro Bowl caliber player. He's been a good player here his whole career, ... We're going to miss him, there's no doubt about that. We've lost some players already. I'm not all of a sudden going to make it a gloom and doom situation.
