Business travelers make the decisions based on schedule, leisure travelers do it based on price. We think we can be very competitive in both areas.

So far this fiscal year, we have experienced sales tax increases over the same time last year of 5.30 percent in October, 9.52 percent in November, 22.73 percent in December, 15.78 percent in January, and 14.58 percent in February.

In general, business travelers plan travel at the last minute. In the aftermath of Sept. 11, many waiting are now waiting until the very, very last minute. There's uncertainty what our response will be militarily and concerns whether business partners will decide to make a trip. To put out there a 50 percent discount, but require a 21-day advance purchase, is totally pointless and misses the goal of getting business travelers back.

Every year, I would assume, and I really mean that word, that we would think about fare increases. Obviously, the more modest we can make them, I think the more successful we will be in actually realizing the fare increases.

We're a price-sensitive market. For leisure travelers, there's some inclination to postpone travel when prices are high. Some business travelers may instead do a conference call.

We expect to report an operating margin between 2 percent and 4 percent, and that should bring us to a net loss for the full year. And for full-year, we are using an assumed fuel price of $1.92 (for a gallon of jet fuel). So, basically, $1.92 in the first quarter and an average of about $2 for each of the remaining three quarters.

For now we're forecasting 30-year mortgage rates of 5.8 percent in 2004, 6.4 percent in 2005 and 6.8 percent in 2006. These are not huge upward moves. We're forecasting a home buyer's market through 2006, ... However, all that can change if mortgage rates get clobbered tomorrow.

There is anarchy out there. Business travelers are no longer just paying the walk-up fare. They are looking on the Internet. They are going for the Saturday night stays. They are looking for every way to save money.

The first provided a 10 percent signing bonus and a pay increase of 3 percent in the first year and 4 percent annually for each of the next two years. The other option offered a 7 percent signing bonus and a 5 percent pay increase in the first year, followed by 3 percent annual increases for each of the next two years. Given the circumstances in the airline industry today, we believe we provided an attractive, comprehensive offer that addressed the major concerns expressed by the pilots during negotiations.
