It was exciting; it was a packed house. Anytime you get Michigan and Michigan State's wrestling programs together there will be lots of intensity. It's great rivalry that goes a long ways back, and I thought both teams represented themselves well today, and fortunately we came out on top.

Obviously, for us to win one or two more games wouldn't hurt. But we're the No. 1-ranked conference in America and we've been able to finish .500 along with Michigan State. We're both 8-8 and we split with one another. No one's talking about Michigan State not being in.

I'm going to Michigan State now. It did take a while for me to decide. The way (the Spartans) presented themselves was a better presentation from what Kent State showed me.
