He never saw me ordsprog

en He never saw me play ball in high school. You had to rely on relationships or a friend who knew of a good player in this town or that town.

en It just kind of occurred naturally because there are so many players from outside of Ohio. Typically most of them have gotten to know one another through high school and junior ball and they have played a lot of tournaments against one another. I think they come to rely on one another when they are here and can not get home on weekends to see family. They do become that second family. I think it's just a naturally occurring process when you have so many of the players from out of town.

Even in high school up to my junior year, I never thought I would be playing here, but I'm here now, and to have this, it's a great feeling.

en We knew they would not quit. T-Town is a very good team, we knew we had to keep at them because they handle the ball well, shoot the three well and play good defense. That's not a team we thought we'd win big over. They shot the ball very well from three, I have to give them a lot of credit for that, they shot extremely well.

en I know we're underdogs. It's a good feeling. You don't have anything to lose. We can just go out and play. Our town, they really support high school basketball, so for us to continue our season gives them something to cheer about. We're gaining more fans every day.

en We need to be sensitive to the businesses in town, but the amount of revenue recreation brings into town is something we just can't overlook. The town needs to take a step. en Obviously, he was a great high school player but to play at the level is a huge jump. I thought there were some questions. For one thing he's not really a shooter. I knew he was quick and a good ball handler. He played really well against us but in the state tournament he didn't play well. I thought maybe they made a mistake. But obviously if he's playing as a freshman they know what they're doing.

en I think there's good support on the town council because it caps the town's contribution to the town employee pension fund and will over time reduce the cost to the taxpayer.

en I don't think that will bother him at all, ... He's played AAU ball. He hasn't missed a stroke. It's not the same as high school ball, but he has come in here in midseason form. He looks really good. He's a '3' in high school, but I think he could play the '2' in college.
