It's not who you ordsprog

en It's not who you play, it's when you play them. [It might be] a team down on their luck and all of a sudden they string together six or seven straight but end up only winning 67 games. You just got them at the wrong time.

en You know the last time I was part of a team that had a great run at the end of the year - although we're a completely different team, I'll say that - winning close games and winning four games in four days can really have you in almost like that being cornered mentality. It's almost like your life, four games in four days. Then all of a sudden you play that fifth game, which is the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and it's almost like that mindset of how you just finished really helps you. And I hope it helps this team like it did the last one.

en It's a 3-on-3 [for BU], then all the sudden it's a 3-on-1. It's a 3-on-2 [for BU], all the sudden it's a 2-on-1. It was bad reads by us, it was stepping up at the wrong time. I don't think you saw anywhere near as hard as UNH had to play. They didn't have to play, we gift wrapped it for them. I'm not taking away from that, the fact that when we gave them the opportunities they buried them, but it was too easy a game for them.

en We get everybody's best shot when we play them. The team that beat us the other day (Faulkner) thought they had won the World Series. Everybody else has had to step up their game. Winning 78 straight (conference) games will make people take notice. They have had to raise their level of play to catch up to us.

en It's a win, and you're happy with it and leave it at that. It makes the final couple of games of the season fun. They have something to play for, and we have something to play for. Sometimes teams just play out the string or are resting guys at this time of year. We're going to have something to chase.

en In a street race, anything can happen. Today we just couldn't get a break. Jan ran well at the beginning but it seemed that Max ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. When you are winning a championship, good luck seems to go with you. When you get bad luck, it seems to be everywhere.

en My play, I obviously can't be happy with. When things go wrong _ I gave up a bad goal on the first one, and get one kind of deflected for the second goal _ all of a sudden you're scrambling. ... But I think the team played really well. We showed we can play and know how to play our system really well.

en It was straight-up luck, ... just threw his arms up and he hit the ball. He just happened to be Johnny on the spot. It was a well-executed play. I came scot-free across the middle. We won three games like that, and sometimes those games go the other way.

en If you?re not out there playing, you still have a role. You have to help this team win. It?s all about winning games. If you can?t do anything to help the team win, then you can?t be here. Rohan made the effort every week to get us ready to play and he was ready to play every time he was called on. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. If you?re not out there playing, you still have a role. You have to help this team win. It?s all about winning games. If you can?t do anything to help the team win, then you can?t be here. Rohan made the effort every week to get us ready to play and he was ready to play every time he was called on.

en Every time we play them, we play crazy. We play real chaotic. They just work you into chaos. And that's why they're winning games.

en Even throughout this season I've had up and downs, ... But I feel pretty good right now. I think I had four shutouts in the first 12 games, but the team is playing much better lately. And that's a big difference why we are winning some games. The shutouts are just luck. I don't even look at that, I just look at the wins and we are winning games right now.

en You'd better show up to play. The team that wins is going to have to string three very good games together.

en The third period is usually one of our best. I don't know what the problem was tonight. We all have to play better right now, that's all I can say. It's been a bad string of luck.

en We're winning because we haven't thought about a streak. We've taken the games one at a time and won them one at a time. Not to be cocky or anything, but we believe if we play as good as we can, we can win every game we play.

en I think we had players in our lineup play well, but I don't know if we've been able to put the whole thing together just yet. We've had periods in games where we've played well and looked like we had before the Olympic break [when they had won six straight]. At this point in time, we have yet to do that [play a complete game].
