I'm a lot more encouraged than I was a year ago or even a few months ago.

It's premature to put a number on the actual supply for next year because manufacturing is continuing, and there are still some uncertainties with respect to Chiron, but we are very encouraged by being able to license this new vaccine, and also I think Chiron has reached a significant milestone in terms of their recent FDA inspection. We're encouraged by the positive track they're on, although the assessment is ongoing. The bottom line is it's encouraging. We certainly are hopeful that there will be additional vaccine beyond what was available last year.

I got off stage and this guy walked up to me. He's like this ball of energy. His name was Lawrence Mathis, a manager. He said. 'I like what you're doing, and I'd like to talk to you. But, I'll be more encouraged if they start arresting people. It's been almost three months since Martin died.

After about 11 months we got pregnant for the first time, and unfortunately we had a miscarriage at three months and so about a year and nine months later we got the news that we were expecting quintuplets.

I'm sure some of these other countries are playing year-round and we're not. In a sense we're spoiled. You get four months off, and we want to take our four months off. We think differently then others. For international teams, baseball's their life. Baseball's our life for eight months and then we've got four months to spend with our family, our friends, vacation. They are really hard-core about it.

We are in a much better situation today than we were six months ago, than we were a year ago or before that, ... I am sure six months from now, a year from now, Afghanistan will be better served by the government, better administered by the country and more secure.

Originally the goal was to work three months out of the year and play actor the rest of the year. With the success of the company, it's now become almost nine-and-a-half months, ... As I always say, there's always the three of us. I mean I'm with Jesus and Santa all the time.

I am encouraged that more work has been done in the last few months compared to before. But still there are many gaps that we need to fill in terms of human and laboratory capacity and infrastructure.

Everybody's just different. Sheff [ Gary Sheffield ] took no more than two months. [Mike] Mussina took about three months. Roger took a year and the first two months of the next season. Alex [Rodriguez] took most of last season, but in the second half he took off for us.

With that being said, we do not think this will cause a dramatic change in terms of the outlook for technology earnings for the next six months, and perhaps the next 12 months. The rate hikes from last year will probably affect technology spending over the next six months.

The issue of the political transition in Iraq is certainly the topic on the agenda. We have encouraged a U.N. role. We look forward to working with the U.N. in coming months, as that process unfolds.

Having lost all of their crops last winter, they have managed this year by selling off their assets to purchase food. They must wait two more months before this year's crops come in, but it will be the hardest two months, here at the end of the farming cycle.

I'm real encouraged about next year. I feel we could have done a lot better this year with the people that we have. That was a disappointment, but we can't go back. We have to move forward and learn from what we did.
