en These weekend series are much tougher than I expected. You're playing three games in 24 hours. We got there at 11:30 (Saturday morning) and it was after 7 when we left. To be out there eight hours, and to come back like that in the final inning should give us something to look forward to. Even though we lost, it says something about this team. Our kids played well this weekend.

en When we got up to 60 points with five minutes left to go in the third quarter, and with what some of those kids have been through the last week, I thought we needed to get the game over with as soon as we could and let them get home and not try to ruin their season.
