en I think it's going to have a pretty big impact on Bethel Woods, on where people are going to stay. Unfortunately, it leaves us with not a lot of beds.

en The floods of September 2004 had a major impact on the people and resources of the Bethel area. We are trying to learn from that experience, and this survey will help us determine how local landowners feel about certain challenges and possible solutions. We think it's worth it for people to take 10 minutes to help us determine what Bethel might look like for many years to come, and we would appreciate everyone's participation.

en We have seen no impact on fish, no impact on wildlife. We are really monitoring such things as the clam beds and oyster racks that Hartley Bay First Nations have out.

From about now until taxes are due is when the big females will move up on the beds. This is when fishermen have the best chance at catching a trophy bass.
